What makes Lattice Top Fence Company’s trellises special?
We take extra care to make your grid, trellis or privacy screen last longer. We use high quality lattice from Dunn Lumber. Our grids and privacy screens are made of fence board-width material—not lath—for a stronger surface. Our trellises are custom built to order on pressure treated posts. All our products are built to the specifications of your site and your unique needs. Our sales staff will collaborate with you to ensure your satisfaction.
How does installation work?
Our crew works Monday through Friday, and typically arrives at the job site between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. We ask that someone be home at that time to review the project with our installer, and then leave contact information so we can get in touch with any questions. On highly custom fences, we suggest someone be available on site as much as possible.
What is your warranty?
We offer a one-year warranty on materials and labor. Our most common warranty request is a gate adjustment (and it does not happen often!). Our warranty terms are printed on the back of your estimate.
Do you do wood fence repairs?
Yes! Call us at 253-852-6165 or click for a FREE Estimate on your fence repair. We’ll inspect your fence and determine whether or not it is repairable. We can also discuss replacement options. We’ll work with your insurance company, answer their questions and present a fair and accurate bid for repair.
We are a group of neighbors who want to share a fence.
How does that work?
We’ll submit an estimate to each individual, which itemizes each of the shared lines as well as the total for the entire job. Each individual signs the estimate and is billed separately.
How do I maintain my fence?
We suggest you apply a preservative to your fence. Check your local hardware or paint store. Take care to avoid allowing bark or dirt to maintain contact with the bottom of your fence, which can cause premature rot. If you plan to install a planting bed, use a masonry or pressure treated barrier next to the fence for best results.
Can you accommodate my area’s soft soil?
Yes! For stability in softer soils, we’ll dig deeper postholes, install ten-foot posts and use more cement.
Do you have references? Where can I see your projects?
Lattice Top Fence Company is happy to provide references for our work. We always check with our customers first and secure their permission before providing you with an address. Many of our satisfied customers have asked us to use them for references.
What about underground utilities?
We are legally required to locate underground utilities before starting your project. We are very specific with our instructions to the locater.
How long will the install take?
Most installations take two days. On day one, we set posts in concrete. On day two, we complete the installation. Large jobs or those with difficult access may take longer.
What happens with my old fence?
We provide a take down and haul away service for your old fence. We can coordinate this during the installation, so your yard is not open for a long period of time. The charge is itemized on your estimate.
What are your payment terms?
We require full payment upon completion. For jobs over $10,000, we ask for a 30% deposit. Jobs that require special order materials are also subject to a deposit. We accept checks, Visa and MasterCard.
